The lassi of this shop, known as Tiwari ji’s lassi, is very special. Not only mangoes but also special people are crazy about their lassi. Everyone in Munger is aware of Tiwari ji’s lassi.
Whether it is the Chief Minister’s program or the arrival of VIPs in Munger, this lassi is special for them. Like lassi, shopkeeper Ramesh Kumar Tiwari’s behavior is also sweet. For the last 25 years, he is running a Lassi shop in Munger’s Bata Chowk by the name of Tiwari ji.
For 25 years Tiwari ji is giving people delicious lassi
Ramesh Kumar Tiwari told that for the last 25 years he has been giving delicious lassi to the people. The way it used to be sold before, even now it is sold in the same way. This is because it never compromised on quality. Do not add ice while preparing lassi. Curd is made by taking one time milk of buffalo and prepare lassi from it and give it to the customers. Saffron, cashew, raisins are put separately in the lassi. There is no adulteration in it. To double the taste of lassi, it is kept in a kulhad made of clay with a thick layer so that the kulhad absorbs the water coming out of the lassi. Lassi is so good that instead of drinking it, you can even eat it with a spoon. The customers here like to eat more.
Lassi is given for Rs 40 per glass
Ramesh Kumar Tiwari told that when he started the Lassi shop, he used to give Lassi to people for Rs.10. Today the price of Lassi has gone up to Rs.40. In the changing times, when the inflation increased, all the goods also became expensive. Buffalo milk has to be bought for Rs.85. When asked about the thought behind writing ‘Aisa koi saga nahi jo humne thaga nahin, lassi ki peete ki peete ho jaye thandi’ written on the shop, he told that everyone is doing business and I am also doing it. Just to please the customer with this, I have written these two lines. Which any customer reads, a smile comes on their face for two minutes.
